So, nearing the end of week 2. Today was my Rest day. Getting up at 4:55am each day is starting to get to me.
For instance...
At the gym I decided to ride a stationary bicycle for a bit just to sweat a little (it being my "Rest from Running" day today). I got my heart rate up in the mid 130's and after 10 minutes or so, I felt very drowsy and was fighting to keep my elylids open and I friggen nodded off! Seriously! I was so thankful that my feet were strapped in. I was in midstride of pedaling and my head dived forward and I almost fell off. I shook myself off, and said "Wake up!". 10 minutes later, it happened again.
Later, in the steam room, I almost feel alseep as well.
Only I could nod off, in the middle of sweat inducing excercise.
I need a nap... And some stamina would be nice...
